Why did I start with property management? My first experience with real estate started over 20 years ago. I purchased my first property with the idea to make a flip. The house needed to be completely gutted out and rebuild. While doing renovations, I learned a lot about what it takes to renovate a house. It was an overwhelming experience for me, I must admit, but it really opened my eyes on the amount of time and effort it takes to renovate a property. Upon completion, however, I felt so attached to it, that I actually moved in there and made my home for a few years. When time had come, I moved out and turned it into a rental property. I enjoyed being a landlord and started to focus on growing my rental business. Since then, I have been involved in contracting, buying, renovating, reselling homes and property management.
